KEEN WINS TO START THE SEASON

18th October 2021

Saturday night Michael Keen claimed the first win of the season in front of Alex Williams and Blake Jackson at Ellenbrook Speedway. 23 cars were in attendance with Blake Jackson the only one brave enough to play his double points round at the opening show.

McDIARMID SNATCHES VICTORY AT MERV WOOLFORD MEMORIAL

The Perth Motorplex hosted the Merv Woolford Memorial which doubled as the King of the Wings on Saturday night with Marshall McDiarmid winning from Dominic Rifici and Todd Davis rounding out the podium.

HARTIGAN WINS SEASON OPENER AT ALBANY

7th December 2018

Last Saturday night saw a field of 20 sprintcars do battle to see who could tame Albany Speedway in our first appearance at the venue as part of our Club Championship in a number of seasons. Daniel Hartigan was the man to greet the checkered flag first from local Shayne Langdon and Glenn Dickinson in the 25 lap journey that was without stoppage.

BRETT BLASTS TO VICTORY LANE

18th December 2017

Current State Champion Brett Barndon conquered the challenging tack conditions on Saturday night to claim victory from Ant Dye and Glenn Dickinson at round 4 of the 2017/18 Club Championship at Moora Speedway.

 

The night started with Brendan Condren putting his car into the turn 4 wall during hotlaps causing considerable damage to the rear end of the car.

BIRTHDAY BOY BENNY WINS ROUND 3

5th December 2017

12 cars made the journey to Narrogin Speedway on Saturday night for Round 3 of the 2017/18 LSA Club Championship.

 

Damien Joyce, Jamie Langdon and Ant Dye were all making their first appearance for this season, with Ant electing to play his double points card.

 

The night didn't start well for Jamie Langdon who hurt his new motor in hot laps.

MIGRO DEFENDS WAYNE ARMSTRONG CUP, GAUDIO WINS CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

23rd April 2017

Last night saw the 9th running of the Wayne Armstrong Cup at Pithara Speedway which also doubled as the final round of this season's LSA Club Championship.

 

Leading into the race meeting Anthony Gaudio led Benny Migro by 26 points in the season points with both men still a chance to taste championship glory.

DOBLE DOMINATES NARROGIN

9th April 2017

Mick Doble won Round 11 of the LSA Season Championship at Narrogin Speedway last night to make it 3 Round wins in a row. Mick had a perfect night winning both his heats and the feature race!

 

Earlier in the afternoon, 5 drivers declared their hand to double this rounds points, those being Anthony Gaudio, Alex Williams, Jamie Langdon, Sean Zemunik and Benny Migro.

 

The opening heat saw Zemunik drawing pole position, however, Sean's luck would dessert him again as he hurt his motor in hotlaps. This meant Migro moved up the grid to take his place. Doble also started on the front row and won the opening heat from Migro and Glenn Dickinson who was behind the wheel of the Ant Dye owned machine.

DOBLE CLAIMS KBS HONOURS!

6th March 2017

Mick Doble made it back to back feature race wins by winning the prestigious Krikke Boys Shootout at Bunbury Speedway last night. Doble started on pole for the feature and was never headed from the get go, winning from Brendon Dickinson, Ant Dye, Paul Fiedler, Daryl Borgas, Ross Atkinson, Grant Atkinson, Tahni Doble and Mark Williamson.

MIGHTY MICK MONSTERS MOORA

20th February 2017

Mick Doble became the third driver this season to declare the round to be his double points round at the drivers meeting and go on to win the feature race that same night. Doble won a stoppage filled feature from Benny Migro and Brett Barndon.

 

Doble started the feature on pole with Migro on his outside and on the second row it was Grant Atkinson and Nathan Chant. Doble got the advantage at the start with Migro slipping into 2nd place. Initially Atkinson took 3rd but had Anthony Gaudio and Chant right with him. It wasn't long before Gaudio moved into 3rd. After a handful of laps were completed David Sudholz looped his car but kept going leaving a cloudy storm behind him in which Grant Atkinson, Mark Doble, Jason Jones and Ross Atkinson all stopping due to no visibility. All cars were able to restart from the rear of the field. While under the cautions, Nathan Chant was forced infield with a flat right rear tyre. Immediately after the restart both Jones and Grant Atkinson also headed infield.

ZEMUNIK CROWNED KING OF THE HILL!

30th January 2017

Sean Zemunik notched up his 3rd feature race win at Geraldton Speedway on Saturday night and in the process was crowned King of the Hill. Zemunik won ahead of Callum Williamson and current series points leader Benny Migro.

 

The start of the night saw Nathan Chant take the win in heat 1 from Robert Garraway, Mick Doble and Ant Dye. Mick Doble had started the heat race off pole position but spun during the race, so he did well to come the field through after restarting at the back of the pack.

KENDALL CLAIMS MAIDEN FEATURE WIN

22nd January 2017

Round 6 of the LSA Season Championship saw us head to Bunbury Speedway for the first time since the 2014/15 season. So it was an interesting choice by both Glenn Dickinson and Steven Kendall to make this their double points round.

 

Heat 1 saw Gavin Davis take the early lead of the race before Brendon Dickinson managing to sneak by for the win with Davis holding onto 2nd. Further back Benny Migro made his way past Paul Belfield and then also Glenn Dickinson to take 3rd with Glenn 4th across the finish line.

HOLLER HAMMERS TO VICTORY AT THE SPRINTCAR MUSTER!

3rd January 2017

Marshall McDiarmid won Round 5 of the LSA Season Championship at the 2017 Sprintcar Muster at the Perth Motorplex on 1st January 2017, setting a new 15 lap record in the process. McDiarmid started the feature race in pole position with Mick Doble on his outside after both drivers had had a 1st and 4th in their respective heat races.

MARGARET RIVER REPORT

23rd December 2016

We recently held Round 4 of the Club Championship at Margaret River Speedway and it was a great nights racing.

 

It was unfortunate that during the night there was a very bad motor vehicle accident out on the highway and we lost the local fire brigade. Our racing was delayed until the club secretary rang around and managed to get in touch with the fire brigade at Woolcliffe and they filled in for the local guys so we could again hit the track.

MIGRO IS KING!!

28th November 2016

Benny Migro claimed victory on Saturday night at the Perth Motorplex King of Wings event in an awesome display of driving to track conditions in the main event.

Earlier in the night it was Sean Zemunik winning the opening heat after starting on the front row alongside Gavin Davis. The pair got away to a good start before Davis pulled up his machine whilst running in second 5 laps into the race with a hurt motor. He joined Glenn Dickinson on the infield who also suffered powerplant problems and thus both having an early end to their night. After the restart, Zemunik was never headed taking the heat win from Migro and Anthony Gaudio..

Sean Zemunik returned to victory lane last night in Round 2 of the LSA 2016/17 Club Championship at Moora Speedway.

The night started well for Sean and his team as he took the win in the opening heat of the night from brothers Glenn Dickinson and Brendon Dickinson.

2015/16 CLUB CHAMPION HAS BEEN DECIDED!

24th April 2016

Congratulations to Kalgoorlie's Tim Davis and Banksia Grove's Benny Migro who have been crowned joint winners of the 2015/16 Club Championship.

Leading into the final round at Pithara Speedway last night Davis led the championship by 4 points. Both drivers excelled in their heats with Davis having a pair of wins and Migro having a 3rd and a 1st.
